Today: A moderate M2.8 Solar Flare erupts from the Sun's lower hemisphere, the radio blast was Type 2 and impacted mostly in the Indian Sea region. Solar ExPerTs say it will most likely cause an Earth Facing CME with a direct impact in the next few days.

What does this mean?

In addition to an Earth Facing Coronal Hole, and a G1 Geomagnetic storm that will affect earth tonight in the American evening, this new solar flare may cause issues for radio transmissions in the upper hemispheres. The energy released from the CME will have implications for the geomagnetic flux of the Earth's magma chamber considering the density is sitting high around 21protons cm^3.

Research has shown that during powerful geomagnetic storms there are high chances for low-hemisphere auroras and in the case of observing La Palma, greater chances of earthquake and tremor activity to rouse the magma chamber.

The issue with La Palma isn't the volcano, but rather a major landslide being triggered by the volcano which will see half of the Island and mountain slide into the Ocean.

The effect of this is a major Tsunami that will spread across the Atlantic affecting the eastern coastlines of North & South America, England and Portugal, the entire west African coastal shelf from Morroco to Nigeria.

Now that is the issue here. And with the Sun dishing out more energy, this molten Island bedrock will definitely slide into the ocean.
