el-Rufai could just be right when he said that the southern governors enacted a law that they cannot implement because you need the federal police to execute the law in various states. |

Auxtin85: Right. But the motive is not to retaliate & destroy their business, rather it's to safeguard citizens from the harmful effects of open grazing viz destruction of farmlands, clashes with farmers, cows wondering around... etc 1 Like |

It is simple to implement. Who is enforcing Ban on beer (alcohol) in the North? What do they do when they get truck load of beer? Do same to Cattle. Kill all of them and the case is over. To create job opportunities for your people, build mini Ranch, make laws on how it should run. example, occupant should pay rent, like the case of poultry, feed should be purchased from the market, before the produce is served in the market, it should be approved to be medically fit for consumption. 2 Likes |

Auxtin85: So the only contribution you can make is to disgrace yourself in the public forum. So your ancestral business in the south is alcohol. So your own solution is fight. Check @bold |

crossfm: Don’t mind some mumu who continue to shy away from the truth even when it’s glaring... Northern own NIGERIA, southern Nigeria mumu still never do. El-Rufai is right, the law passed won’t be enforce. He is so sure that the police will not enforce that law. 1 Like |

[quote author=Auxtin85 post=106177409]The south should form a strong security group to enforce the anti open grazing law. Sharia laws are being enforced by Islamic police ishba, they are known for destroying alcoholic drinks from the south, southern security outfit should be formed to destroy and kill their ancestral business too [/quote You are on point... |

KangaIye: in a sense d governors need their own police. but fayose enforced anti grazing when he was governor without state police. if ganduje can be destroying peoples property and businesses with hisbah, i dont see why southern governors are clueless as to what to do in their own case 1 Like |

Not surprise that el-rufai have said the anti-open grazin law cant be implemented because the northern control all the forces But the govenor shouldn't play politics with the anti- open grazin law They should empower the regional security with more sophisticated weapon |

ijustdey: If the Police fail in their duties of enforcement, then the citizens will enforce the law, but is see all this going in to anarchy, because of the federal government not looking for an permanent solution to all this header and farmers clash, now the Sates have decided to protect it citizen the federal police are not willing to enforce the laws, why the need for state police. the states can tow a line from the sharia Police and do same in this regard, already the south west already have Ametokun, they can be seen to enforce the law if the police are having a cold feet about it., it only the South South and South east that do not have any out fit for such . |
