Comedy is fictional and non fictional. However fictions are not the same thing as lies. Iron Man is a fiction but there are underline themes that captions reality. The notion or mode of slugging between good and evil structure of meaning and what constitutes the right morality. Many of them are not infusing those underline truth into such fictions as you want to call it. They are not artist or if they are have sold out for money. Comedy jokes are meant to trigger happiness joy laughter, comedy jokes can only be useless when it does the opposite, even foolish things done with a sense of humour make people laugh that's comedy, it must not be educational , or based on true story as the pastor wants it
