As long as one doesn't abandon one's closest family members, you don't owe nobody shit

Absolutely.
It is family first and any other kind gesture to anyone else is considered a privilege and not a right.

I spent about 1.2m on my last visit to Nigeria that was in April and i didnt stay for up to 2months. I just advised myself to go back. Thanks to my friends who are all doing well so no much expectation. I wish people could be enlightened to know that abroad is not as they think it is. You go suffer ooo.

Weren't you the person chasing after a 40k job from your 25k job back in July? Suddenly in April you visited Nigeria and spent 1.2m?

You're in Jos, not abroad, liar.

I am in Austria. Every country has it's pros and cons. I came as a student. I have €13,000 as prove of fund before anything. I advise you to check yourself very well before make a journey in any country. No country is easy bro. If Nigeria is better tomorrow, 99% of guys outside will chose to come back. You will not understand until you come. Don't allow any agent to decive you. To survive in Nigeria is not easy likewise abroad. If you are not financially efficient, I will advise you to hold on to what you are doing in Nigeria
Best advice ever!

How much is 1M for a diasporian? About $2K? Why is anybody complaining about spending $2k on 4 weeks holiday?
My brother, I taya o. Maybe because they feel it's Nigeria their country, everything should be free for them coming back from the abroad. Calculate these millions to dollars and compare with your time there for the same time frame. Una just dey cast aspersions on the country whereas una dey make money in foreign currencies abroad. Lol

Last December to early February I spent more than 6M. It's not cheap visiting Nigeria. Some people think you're there to solve their problems. Meanwhile during my 2019 visit I only spent 2M+. I won't be back anytime soon.

2nd October 2020-5th of March 2021, I WASTED OVER 7m .... But I won't make such a mistake again...

Not exactly. The rate of inflation has quadruple within 3 years in Nigeria. When family and friends complain, we really don't understand till your feet is on the ground. Also, I think we are used to a certain Nigerian standard. I was actually surprised the cost of bread had gone up and even the size of Akara has reduced. The complaint I got was beans is expensive.

I budget N50k per day, this includes acknowledging pleasantries with drinks, cash, meet ups, hotel, restaurants, clubs, fuelling car.

You may even exceed this if you carry along friends with loud mouth or have female friends who will take you to hotels where it costs N40k per night.

Plan yourself, book Airbnbs in good locations, they are at least 20 percent cheaper.

This year, my budget for 3 weeks visit is already on N4 million.

A female friend on mine said she burnt through 1m she's says Nigeria is expensive from houses data etc and that you have to keep spending she prefers the one time payments for services( i.e. in some cases)

How much do I need to relocate to visa free country outside Africa

Visa free doesn't mean work permit is not required. It just allows you to visit without a visa, so plan well.

Lol!!!

So when a country have steady power supply, it is automatically better than Nigeria? And when food their is cheaper than Nigeria, it is automatically better than Nigeria? As bad as Nigeria is, it is a lot better than Togo!

Read that thing in bold again and again....

When you are done, imagine Nigeria having those 2 parameters (Steady Power supply and cheaper food)... Then learn not to contradict yourself.

You are welcome!!! cool

Guys, alot of this guys are lying. Over 2.5M in a month? That's like spending about 100k everyday. Really? Why una de lie like this? I don't know where this guys find the money sef, lots of Nigerians abroad are broke. Real time. No joke. Make una de lie small small abeg.

I understand that you intend to make folks back home miserable, your sense of worth is predicated on how much other puts you on a pedestals, and them having the consciousness that you're doing fine, but it is wrong. It means you're a shitty person.

Like how much can a Nigerian going abroad for holidays spend also??! Isn't that even more expensive than someone based there coming over??! Do people traveling from Europe to Ghana spend less??!

Thank you jars.

You even see most of them speaking with two sides of the mouth.

You hear comments like

"I came back home and spent some millions and then I saw this country is not easy and then I ran back. But please abroad too is hard ooo. Don't rush over here".

They think everybody here won't read their comments thoroughly.

You for no fall him hand na. Free am grin

I've accepted long ago that humans naturally need a dose of delusion and lie to be psychologically healthy. Obese modafukas wants to be called slim or chubby. Cripple preferred being described as physically challenged, mad psychos called mentally unbalanced etc grin

Perhaps, you should have spared him. Last last, you can not lie to yourself, even if you do to others. Never shine a touch to a man's little darkness that hurts no one, but makes him happy grin

Just kidding
