Lawyer and Public Affairs Analyst, Prof Chris Mustapha Nwokobia , says rotational presidency is in conflict with the Nigerian constitution and must not be allowed to stand.

Prof Chris Mustapha Nwokobia who is also the Convener CountryFirst Movt., made this known when he appeared as a guest on Arise TV NEWSDAY program to discuss the position of the Northern Governors against the zoning of the Presidency, and the Politics of 2023.

Prof stated that since 1999 when Nigeria returned to democracy, people from different part of the country have been allowed to participate in primaries of political parties.

According to Nwokobia , after 61 years of nationhood Nigerians shouldn't be debating on rotational presidency , religious or ethnicity but competence and Capacity.

"A time it was in our country when we had a Muslim Muslim ticket and it was not a big deal , not a big deal because MKO Abiola and Kingibe were able to reach out to all section of the country"

The call of rotational presidency is just politicians seeking for the "best part to feather their best"

He charged the youth to demand Leadership and take Leadership
