Here's what you can do to prevent the Malaria Parasite infection and Common cold associated with this weather

1. Plan your schedule and adhere strictly to it except for emergencies

2. Never go outside your home without an umbrella, raincoat, and cardigan.

3. Regularly check your temperature to know if it's between the normal range especially when it seems you're running a fever

4. Ensure your house and surroundings are clean and well fumigated to destroy mosquito larvae and their adults

5. Take fruits, vegetables and a lot of water (3-5litres/day)

6. Don't stay outside unless absolutely necessary
