It's a gift, he doesn't know the Price. As a head of state most of the things he has might just be all gift from freinds and associates... When one is on a sit of power all these things keep coming , cars, thousands of dollars, jewelries etc People keep giving you.. Even companies keep giving.. 4 Likes |

He can afford it from his legit income. Buhari is not a poor man by Nigerian or global standard, so what's the big deal about his wearing $640 shoes. BTW, it's almost certain the shoes are a gift. 3 Likes |

DrSamOnowu87: My dear, his father has done his work for him. That's why children of rich men hardly sustain their father's wealth when he's gone. When rich Nigerians die, they often die with their wealth. Buhari's son forgot that his father won't be president and alive forever. I guess he has stolen enough money up to his 3rd generation though. Wealth creation is not merely learnt in books; it's something everyone has to practice and instill in their children. If you miss that point, your children won't be able to carry on with your business (wealth) when you are no more. 2 Likes |

My concern is not the loan. As long as the loan is used for the purpose it was meant for I don't see anything to worry about. Okonjo Iweala warned us before now that PDP has finished the country and we already know the country is sitting on a keg of gun powder and only borrowing can sustain the economy development of the country. Reno also forget that Nigeria oil baseline production was far more than some oil producing countries that were carrying infrastructural development in 2007 till 2014. He can only deceived those who can't think rational. Buhari administration has its peculiar challenges but this man ran away from the country since Buhari became president. Buhari is hopeless, to say the least. Instead of him to specifically and strategically wear Nigerian made (Aba made) shoes on his foreign trips to market and advertise Nigerian products to the outside world, he is busy gallivanting around in Italian made shoes. Use Nigerian made Innoson vehicles, at least in about 20 percent of his entourage, no. Ńa to dey waka around in Mercedes benz and Toyota dem sabi. MeghaneMorgane: He is a public figure for goodness sake! He should exemplify modesty at least to reflect the current economic realities in the face of gnashing standard of living every Nigerian goes thru. He can at least do this until such time he is out of office and he is able to buy these things on his monthly salary he saved while being president. At least we know his true monthly earnings as president is able to get him 640 usd shoes. Millions of Nigerians sustain on less than one dollar to feed daily. The monthly minimum wage of 25000 naira is equivalent to 45 usd, and he walks around in 640 usd shoes (which is able to pay the minimum wage of 14 Nigerian workers). The people that that were hired by the FG to protest for them at the UNGA were paid 50 dollars per hour for the gig. Yet he pays his workers back in Nigeria 45 usd monthly. If this is not wickedness, I don't know what is. 7 Likes |

What if the shoe was a giftwhen my dad was in service,he had lots of gifts from his.... As for the presidential jet,as at 2015,Nigeria had 10,they tried selling 1 at some point but I'm guessing it wasn't successful....Buhari came in and met 10 jets and we still have 10,meaning he hasn't bought any since he came into office. So how is any of this Buhari's fault or am l missing something Please school me if I'm wrong 1 Like |

I don’t see any problem with wearing a 640 dollar shoe if you can afford it legitimately. I believe in enjoying your life if you can afford it. Buy yourself good stuffs and take yourself out if you can afford it. For this matter, Reno should leave Buhari alone |
