The charging port of my phones are virgins, so also is my charger and borrowing it to those olosho chargers of borrowers becomes annoying because they will not only scatter the joystick but will also ruin it. grin

then i strategize as a street boy wey i be, i don already plan the time wey she dey always come, nah so i choose not to wear boxers but only top, as i hear her foot step, nah so i run to T.V side bend down toward the socket and my gbola dey swing left and right under... the next thing i heard was : heey Jesus, and the sound of her shutting the door back.

she knew i did it intentionally as she already told me she needs my charger, ever since, she no dey come again.

My younger bro took my charger USB adapter and gave it to my neighbor, who gave it to my very very superstitious Dad(who also has charger issues),who now dunked it into water(to cleanse it of evil hands).That day no funny because he couldn't look at me the next day...
I just thanked God during the time I used a LG G5, no interruption, no "Emma, come borrow me charger" it was USB C.

Very annoying stuff, there is one man in my place of work, he will see me and say good morning did you bring your charger, I have to bring another charger with a small chord make them no spoil my original. Anytime I tell him I did not bring it, he will be like you that brings bag should not be leaving your charger at home.

Sincerely on my own part I find it annoying and so uncomfortable. Charger is a personal property that goes with a phone, some will even say baba, since you don get small percentage, make i boost my own na, e don die completely.

Others will come and say abeg if you finish charging your phone help me with your charger and they won't even allow you finish charging, you'll see them coming to check if you've finished every now and then.

Some will borrow and spoil it, the funny thing is that they will tell you I just plug am and I see say e no dey charge. Sometimes when you come to collect your charger their facial expression will change.

I can't leave my charger with you while my phone is down. If you refuse to borrow them your charger, you become wicked. You fit buy phone but you no fit buy charger.... Haba?

Personally I feel charger is not a thing that should be borrowed cos you need it always!!!

So na common charger wey dem borrow from you cause all these story

Abi when you switch on generator and someone brings one phone that refuses to charge..Some have charger but they'll have to twist the wires grin

I have two colleagues who are known in our institution as "Universal Charger Borrowers." So when I joined this organisation almost six years, these guys paid me a visit on the day I resumed work and were very friendly. One of them asked me if I brought the charger of my infinite phone. I nodded and brought out the charger from my bag.
And that was when trouble began. This guy and the other guy fell in love with my charger to the extent that they made use of it every blessed day. I let them use the charger oblivious of the consequences even as I wondered why they didn't feel embarassed as I did over the frequent demand for my charger by the two matured well payed guys.
Eventually, the charged could no longer fit into the charging pod and destroyed the pod. Next, the phone, which had never given me any wahala, started rebooting every one minute.

When I repaired the phone after spending more than 15K and bought a new charger, these guys had the guts to ask me if they could resume their love affair with my charger. Of course I told them off in no uncertain terms. The most shocking part of the saga was that when these guys noticed that my charger was bad, they bought new cheap, chargers but once my charger 'returned', they resumed business as usual.

Type c cable don help my life, na me dey even do yanga for people, opon dat some people will still wants to use the head which I will stylishly tell them it's not comparable. I have been using one charger for the past 1 years and am sure it because am the only one using it. Before then u will plug your phone and some who has more charge in his phone will unplugged your boost his own and probably left yours uncharged.

Lol.. Long story short, I switch to a type-c device and the nonsense stopped.

I remember plugging my charger in the socket and as usual my guy went to use it only to discover that the connector is different, lol you need to see the day I was laughing at him.

I hate borrow charger because when you start plunging different type of charger to your device before you know it, your charging port will start developing issues.

Mine is not charger but hotspot i just managed to subsribe for 2gb plan then a guy begged me to on hotspot briefly i reluctantly agreed.5 mins later i got a message saying my data has neen exhausted the idiot used my data to update his phone software

All chargers are not compatible with any type of phones.
Samsung chargers are not made with specifications for other phones for instance.
So if you want to blow your charger faster use it to charge other phones.
Once they are not the same spec and model of phone, don't allow your charger to be used on it. It will change the characteristics of the charger that it may not even charger your phone properly again afterwards.
I don't give out my Galaxy Charger except its the same exact phone, otherwise, bounce.

This is primary school thought.

Using your charger for a phone it's not specificed for doesn't do any damage.

You're just stingy and boastful, uncle.

See him mouth like "Samsung Galaxy charger", like there's anything so special about it undecided

The one I borrow my gotv remote.He no gree return am for a month.He change am for me say him buy the remote #2500.Remote wey dem dey say #800.I come ask am to bring the remote.I come show am where I mark am with my name.He no fit talk again.
I borrow am polish wey I dey manage small small,he use half of it take polish him black shoes because he get job interview.Now if he ask me to borrow am anything I go tell am say'i no dey borrow you because you lack a proper maintenance culture.
