This one is a blatant lie.The domineering influence of the North(by virtue of their population) has again played out in PDP's working committee resolution as regards the party's convention coming up next month.And the fact is that this resolution is going to further destabilize the country.If the North owing to their plentitude could turn the tables in their favour in the PDP working committee,then it is certain that whichever northerner which gets to the chairmanship post would want to use the powers that be to give the party's presidential flagbearer to his/her kinsman.Seqel to the point above,note that the north occupies a whopping majority in the country.The bottom line is that the country would be thrown into a further disarray should powers return to the north come 2023. The 2023 general elections is going to be two-sided war.On one side, it's PDP vs APC(political party supremacy contest).On another side, it's North vs South(North-Southsupremacy fight).Funny enough,some politicians are in two different competing wings at a time.A northern APC politician of this time,for example,has two forces to contend against_one is PDP, another is Southerners wanting power.A southern PDP member would want PDP to win the elections.Then,he would also have to fight against the northerners in his/her political party.Lets cross our arms and watch how this drama unfolds.

As a firece critic of Ugwuanyi, this is the first time I'm applauding his wisdom. North think they are smart, but this move of zonning the party chairman to north is a bold strategy to keep the north guessing the next big move.

All in all, I can boldly say that the Presidency is coming home if you consider that both the PDP and APC will definately replicate the 1999, 2007 and 2015 scenario for national unity. Only the wise will understand the political gimmick come 2023.

That means kano state with the highest LG will have more deleg6than any other state.. the only way a southern candidate clinch the ticket is when it's specifically zoned to the south, if it's left open.. I see the north taking it, because of more delegates

Bala Mohammed committee threw the contest open to all Nigerian from every part ,thinking he is smart. Ugwuanyi committee has zoned the party Chairmanship to the North which is well calculated and a planned job well done by Governors of the south and Benue gov. , a committee that was set up to do otherwise against the igbos using one of their own bt the committee choose the ryt part.
NB During the convention to elect the presidential candidate, indirect primaries will be used and which favours the south because they have more delegate owing to the fact that they have more political office holders from the party as delegates and also they have more sitting governors meaning more money to spend to lobby delegates
