Please I need help My last menstrual flow was from 20th July to 23rd July. When I didn't see my period in August, I did a pregnancy test and it was positive. I went for a scan today and the scan showed that I am 8 weeks pregnant (instead of 10 weeks) and the gestation sac was seen within the uterus without a yoke sac & fetal pole. I was asked to come for another scan in two weeks and I'm really scared. Doctors in the house please help... Attached is the scan photo

Wait for another two weeks as you were advised.If after a second scan you still have the same result, then you may have had a miscarriage or what is called a blighted ovum. 1 Like |

The embryonic node/foetal ought to have appeared. The GS is irregular and decidua scanty. It looks like an an embryonic preg already. 1 Like |
