You don't understand the rule of engagement of soldiers. Those ones only rush to the scene just to see they responded. They were not deployed officially by their commandant, maybe he was not reachable to give instructions when they got the distress call.

Soldiers are trained to kill, they don't quench riot. So when Nigeria soldier are under instructions which means they are on duty, hmmm, they will never run.
