#BlackSunday: 300L UNIZIK Student Murdered In Cold Blood By IPOB Gunmen At Nnewi, Anambra State

The lady identified as Chioma, a 300level student of medical rehabilitation, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi Campus was at the evening hours of Sunday, 3rd of October, 2021 murdered in cold blood by unknown gun men at Nnewi area of Anambra State, close to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH)

According to eyewitness at the scene of the incident, Chioma was with her friends mending her shoe along the roadside when gunshots were heard which made her to run into a nearby shop for safety. The unidentified gunmen after shooting sporadically into the shop through the glass where the students took cover together with Chioma, badged into the shop asking them
"where that Hausa man??"
The girls in their frightening state responded that they knew nothing about the "Hausa man". On hearing this, the unknown gunmen speedily dashed out but unfortunately, Chioma was already lying lifeless on the floor with pool of blood all over.

While describing her, friends around said Chioma was an intelligent student who had performed extremely well academically, jovial to be with and a strong lover of sport most especially football.
