They send me one certain time that my brother took a loan and hasn't paid.
Now they were not meek but try to talk you into hating the debtor.
I know my brother had challenges then with his wife being pregnant.
Its embarrassing but my brother paid up because he is working.
These people should learn to have grace period.

The agents representing the loan company, calls one's contact at random, they don't put into mind if you know the debtor or not..they are foolishly known for that..

They company have access to the debtor contact and can call any of them at random.

What they should have done is ask the debtor to drop 3 contacts, they will call those 3 contacts before giving loans like those guys who give phone loan do.

The most annoying part is that u might end up not knowing the person; reason is because people can get people's contact without their consent.

This is the 3rd time i will encounter this. The first was abt a schoolmate of mine during my undergraduate days, the second was a fellow Corp member during my service in the core North and now is a stranger who have my number. Yet these people suddenly claimed he is my relative. It's so annoying! I called back and gave them a stern warning. See the reply I got.

No loan company will reply like this ,this is just yahoo boys on the beat

My advice to you is to stay calm while you seek legal advice in case of eventuality...

In as much as you didn't stand as a surety for the debtor, and you didn't sign any understanding on behalf of the debtor...you are safe.

Some stupid loan companies loan every dick, tom, and harry their money and when the person defaults the payment, they will now be looking for siblings of the debtor to arrest....or intimidate...
And some naive people will fall their intimidation because they don't know their left from their right...

For you to loan someone money as a company, you have to do your due diligence and in case the person defaults and abscond..., the company should swallow their pride and place such debt in bad debt and forget it instead of intimidating their siblings...
