Finally got to meet a female programmer. I have been through a lot of thread but I barely got to meet five female programmers.

Presently Frontend development. But I've worked in teams that included female Backend/ fullstack developers and data scientists in the past.

Tech field is dominated by men though, but there are many women in tech today and I've come across about 2 tech positions that specifically requested a female developer.

A female needs to be courageous to face it.
Of course, they always believe that a man will take care of them in the future so what's the essence of killing themselves to learn codes.

Never meet a Nigerian lady who is a programmer all what I always see are Make ups Selling Recharge cards POS sellers Clothes Jewelries perfumes wristwatches. You hardly see one. Even 3D animator using Autodesk or Unreal Engine you can't see any in this field.
They don't like anything that will stress out their brains.
Poor beautiful Nigerian ladies

You could have just said they have no interest in it and move on. People go after things they find interesting. You don't see the Nigerian govt encouraging youth in IT field.

Programming is DIFFICULT/HARD. Anyone that says otherwise is just lieing to you. It takes plenty hours of reading and practice to master the skill.

His only crime is making human intelligence a gender thing.
