A look at some of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo's Official Activities for the Month of September 2021 *1st September* VP Osinbajo attended the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Buhari at the State House Abuja. At the meeting, President Buhari inaugurated the Board of Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) and charged it to make more investments that support economic diversification. *2nd September* VP Osinbajo gave remarks at a Roundtable on Industrialization in Africa themed "Positioning African Industries for Economic Transformation and Continental Free Trade", organized by the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) to celebrate its Golden Jubilee. According to the Vice President, "We must take policy actions to create an environment in which businesses can thrive. To start with, we must adopt the right type of macroeconomic and industrial policies". *3rd September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo SAN visited The African Court On Human And Peoples’ Rights in Arusha, Tanzania, and met with Lady Justice Imani Daud Aboud and her Team. Expressing his strong faith in the work of the Court, VP averred "I believe very strongly in the International and Regional Court system, especially with respect to the protection of human rights". *8th September* Vice President Osinbajo virtually attended the Federal Executive Council Meeting presided over by President Buhari. Still on the 8th, VP Osinbajo delivered a message at the 47th Conference of African Insurance Practitioners, themed "Rebuilding Africa's Economy; An Insurance Perspective". Also, he virtually represented President Buhari at the Emergency Extraordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of States and Government of ECOWAS Member-states on the political developments in Guinea & Mali. *9th September* VP Osinbajo attended Leadership Conference Awards at the ICC in Abuja as the Special Guest of Honor where he gave a rousing speech calling on the Nigerian elite to enlarge the circle of opportunity. Also on the 9th, VP Osinbajo and Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo attended the funeral service of Pa Emmanuel Abiodun Father of the Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun in Iperu-Remo, Ogun State. *12th September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo attended the dedication of the All Saints Anglican Church Wuse 2, Zone 5 Abuja. He also attended the building dedication ceremony of the Redeemed Christian Church, City of David, Abuja. *14th September* VP Osinbajo gave remarks at the Climate, Conflict, And Demography In Africa Conference jointly hosted by the International crisis group, the Royal African Society, and Africa Confidential Publication. Still on the 14th, VP Osinbajo attended the 14th Annual Banking and Finance Conference themed - Economic Recovery, Inclusion & Transformation; The Role of Banking & Finance at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. *15th September* VP Osinbajo attended FEC meeting presided over by President Buhari, in which new INEC Commissioners were sworn in. *16th September* Vice President Osinbajo represented President Buhari in Accra, Ghana at the Extraordinary Summit of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government on the political situation in the Republic of Guinea. The Vice President was accompanied by the Foreign Affairs Minister of State, Ambassador Zubairu Dada. *17th September* VP Osinbajo attended the Book Launch of Pst. Dr. W.F. Kumuyi "Defender of the Faith" at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos. *18th September* Vice President Osinbajo attended the Graduation of the Founding Class of the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM) in Lagos. Where he charged the graduands on, among other things; hard work, consistency, patience and a positive sense of self. He later attended the MALLPAI Foundation Dinner to mark World Mass Literacy Day. *20th September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo received in audience the Chairman Independent Petroleum Producers Group (IPPG) Mr Abdulrazaq Isa and his team at the Statehouse, Abuja. He also received a delegation of the Financial Market Dealers Quotation (FMDQ) group led by its CEO Bola Onadele. Still on the 20th, VP Osinbajo received in audience the President-elect of Sao Tome and Principe Mr. Carlos Manuel Vila Nova at the Statehouse, Abuja. The Vice President also virtually launched the United Nations Global Compact Africa Strategy - an initiative of the United Nations to galvanize private sector participation in the actualization of the SDG's. *21st September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo received a delegation of the Southwest Attorney-Generals led by Ekiti State Attorney-General Mr Olawale Fapohunda at the State House Abuja. He charged them to leverage their network and individual positions to effect the desired changes in the justice sector. *22nd September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presided over the Federal Executive Council Meeting at the State House, Abuja. *23rd September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo attended the Kaduna Economic and Investment Summit (KADINVEST 6.0). VP Osinbajo also commissioned the Kasuwan Magani Ultra-modern Market, Power Solar Plant in Kajuru Local Government, Kaduna State. *24th September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo flagged-off the Dakkada Towers and the construction of the lbom Luxury estate in Akwa Ibom state as part of events marking the state's 34th Anniversary. *25th September* VP Osinbajo gave remarks at CAN Awards & Gala Night and was coffered upon an Award Of Excellence. *26th September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo gave a keynote address at the 61st Nigerian Independence Day Thanksgiving Service held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja. *27th September* VP Osinbajo chaired a meeting with the Nigerian - Russian Chamber of Commerce at the State House, Abuja. *28th September* Vice President Yemi Osinbajo commissioned the Nigeria Police Special Protection Unit Residential Quarters built by NDDC in Rivers State. VP Osinbajo gave a keynote address at the UN General Assembly High-level Forum On Jobs & Social Protection. |
