The Project One Youth One Farm initiative of the Imo State government through the office of the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs to the Governor has progressed well.



On day 3 of the training sessions, over 600 participants were present at the Imo Youth Centre, Owerri, and were fed on poultry farming, poultry feed production, and pineapple crop production, beekeeping, and honey production.



The practical phase of the programme would see the participants do what they have learned.



The State Government had pursued the programme to assist youths tap into the opportunities in the agro sector for their economic well-being.

The sessions proved to be the most impactful as participants were glued to their seats and the facilitators zealously dishing out value and new knowledge to Imo Youths.

According to the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs the Governor, the participating youths would be assisted by the state government to secure loads and grants to invest on the agricultural sector.

Very commendable. Hopefully the youths would be assisted & mentored to venture full-time into farming.

Agriculture is the way to go. The revitalization of the agricultural sector by the present administration led by President Buhari is very commendable. Keep it Mr. Governor.
