Hi guys, please I need advise on if I should take the step or not. We all know the difficulties we are facing in this country, the country is not helping the youth with vision to grow. Expecially, we into entrepreneurship. I have it in mind to relocate to Ghana to start life, I'm just tired of this country. Please if you are a Nigerian and living in Ghana please let me know how life is over there. I own a business, and it's 100% online, but the amount I spend on petrol daily is nothing to write home about. Please let me know if relocating to Ghana is a good idea, let me know the country's economy, electricity and accomodations rates there Thanks! 1 Like |

MaggiStar: Lived there two years before I entered Barbados on the Welcome Stamp. If you can keep your head low, you will enjoy the place. Prepare for wahala with house agents. The police there are not an issue. They can be "reasoned with", if you know what I mean. There is bias against Naija people but it is covert and harmless. Since you earn online, enter there with the 60 days visa. Before it expires, go to their immigration headquarters and get an extension. Make friends with one or two of the ogas and let them put you through on how to legalise your stay permanently. |

The best route is via London Heathrow using Virgin or BA. This requires your guy to fly ASKY airlines to Kotoka airport Accra, and from there to LHR, or for him to fly to Lagos and from there to BGI via LHR. I preferred BA because the DTAS visa procedure is much more straightforward. Virgin has overnight layover, which requires you to apply for the other type of transit visa which comes with the fear of you leaving the airport and disappearing, so the approval rate of that visa is lower. Another route is via Istanbul, to New York or Boston. However, the US just banned flights to and from Barbados because of rising COVID cases here. Moreover, that route will not keep you in the 72 hour window between the pre-departure COVID test and your touchdown in Bridgetown Airport. I cannot advise on any other routes involving Copa airlines or transit via St. Lucia. |

I would advise you to make your research, Ghana is a safe and consistent country. But life here is very expensive. You are advised to live here legally,if you must relocate here. MaggiStar: |
