Peter Obi: ‘Politics made me poorer

The politician adds that it was God who led him into murky political waters.

Ex-Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, says dabbling into politics made him a poorer man.

Obi, 60, has been battling allegations bordering on tax evasion, money laundering, incorporating shell companies and operating foreign bank accounts, while governing southeastern Anambra State from 2006 to 2014.
