Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba, on Wednesday night, returned to action to score a hat-trick against Arsene Wenger’s UNICEF XI team in a charity match.

Wenger returned to management to lead a UNICEF XI out against Marseille legends.

Wenger’s side moved into a 2-1 lead at the Stade Velodrome in his first.

However, Drogba stole the show with his trio of goals for Marseille legends.

The Ivory Coast legend found the net twice and then even dusted off his infamous celebration for his third goal.

Formula One hotshot Pierre Gasly was also on target in the enthralling game.

Meanwhile, Robert Pires, Jens Lehmann, Mathieu Flamini and Samir Nasri, all Arsenal legends under Wenger, made appearances last night.

DIDIER DROGBA is still haunting Arsene Wenger.

The Chelsea legend, who retired from football three years ago, turned out for a team of Marseille legends against a Unicef XI managed by the former Arsenal boss in a game named 'Match des heroes'.

And it will not surprise Gunners fans to know that the man who netted 13 times in 15 games for Chelsea against Arsenal during his playing career also scored a HAT-TRICK against Wenger's Unicef side on Wednesday night.

A number of familiar faces took part in the match including Robert Pires, Mathieu Flamini, Samir Nasri and Jens Lehmann.

But it was Drogba who stole the show, much to the chagrin of Wenger.

The ex-Arsenal boss' side took a 2-1 lead but the Marseille legends roared back and, inspired by Drogba, ran out 7-4 victors.

In the latter stages Wenger threw on a few more famous former players in David Trezeguet, Patrick Kluivert and Esteban Cambiasso.

And he also gave the group of legends a direct pre-match team talk.

13 goals in 15 games is totally insane record for an attacker against
a "big club" in EPL.
It seems dey is something dt drogba or wenger isnt telling us dt is
fueling drogba whenever he sees Wenger..
maybe a younger drogba once went for trials n wenger said he isnt good enough to play for arsenal or wenger once priced him very cheaply...
they gat be a story behind this scenario wey de motivate drogba
whenever he see wenger..

lol....to me, its an insult calling our legend "African cr7" bcox drogba don de score goals n win trophies even before cr7 started football n its a disrespectful to our king..
drogba n eto really proved to the world dt African gat quality strikers that can compete n gat consistency because they both achieved n led both their clubs n countries to numerous trophies scoring important goals..
still waiting for that next african striker with such command n consistency, sallah, auba n mane are close but their off n on form is a problem n they all performed more in clubs than in countries...
