As the Anambra State gubernatorial election approaches, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc (+), NPM, fdc, has stated that not less than 34,578 Police personnel will be deployed to voting polls.

“An Election Security Threat Analysis has been conducted by the Force Intelligence Bureau and based on the outcome of this initiative we have developed a Strategic Election Security Operation Order which will involve the mobilisation and deployment of a total of 34,587 Police personnel,” the IGP stated.
