Just see how irresponsible these brigands are. You want to detonate expired explosives, you didn't ship them off to a desert to safely detonate them, it had to be done in civilian living spaces.

How can you be detonating such weapon in a residential area for God sake

If the explosives are needed to be discarded why not take them to sambisa and rain them on Boko bitchs and their terrorist partners?

Nigeria army why?

You release public notice on the 14th. You start to carry out the activities on the 14th

Abeg which time you give affected citizens to prepare

And that had to be done within the city?
What happened to forest unhabitated?
Why not drop it randomly in Sambisa and all other Boko, heardsmen, bandits and Fulani enclaves for good measure (since they are espired)? undecided

Why not take the expired explosives and detonate them at Sambisa Forest?

Reacting, the Nigerian Army claimed responsibility for the explosion, explaining that the exercise is a routine one carried out by the military "to detonate expired explosives."

Big fat lie!! I believe the explosion happened by accident! No military in the world detonates bomb(s) near people's buildings or in a military barrack!!

I see no problem with that as long as it was done within the barracks plus doing it in the forest would just destroy the habitats of some animals

I only feel there should be sites for things like that

And the houses that collapsed weren't humans'?

Expired explosives are unstable, they can't be moved around....
Would you have preferred them blowing up in the middle of a city while transporting them there?
Anything can set expired explosives off

"The 13 Brigade Nigerian Army would be conducting a disposal of expired explosives at the Shooting Range Calabar from 14 to 17 October 2021.

Would it not have been better if the public were given adequate notice prior to the commencement of the exercise? Only in that damned country!
