This happened not too long ago at my distant relatives place.
A young boy who got orphaned not too long ago was living with just his mom and two siblings. One day two of his friends came to his home and asked his mom if he could go "play ball with them". His mom said yes and off he went. Toward evening his mom sent his other siblings to go look for him. They could not find him. She went herself, she involved the neighbourhood and asked the boys that came to call him. All they said was, " when we finished playing everyone went home".
His mom went to look for him till 12am.
The following day, some people said they found him by the river.
They asked those two friends and they said " he went fishing after they had finished playing the ball".
They boys body was found and buried..
Be wise with your kids, never let them play in the neighbourhood. That was how that brilliant young boy lost his life.
I hope he finds justice.
