1 Timothy 2:1-2
[1]Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
[2]for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

God calls us as believers into the office of intercessions

Heavenly Father, we are in your presence again to bless your name, be exalted and magnified. Cleanse us and make us holy vessels through which your word floored and acts unimpeded. Glorify yourself through us and let us radiate your light always. Amen.

No matter what ministry you find yourself in God wants each and every one of us to follow on the footsteps of our Lord Jesus. We are to make intercession and to give thanks for all men, not just for those who are good, or for those who are bad, but for all.
He even makes special mention of Kings and people in position of authority. Of course, the reward is clear to see.
May God give us the grace to obey Him in this. Amen.
