=N=20M p/a, obviously in the UK, London where many things are possible including bomb blasts!!! After a gruelling 4 stage interview process, I landed it!! I can't really celebrate as If I tell my girl acquaintance (she no be proper girlfriend yet) she would start taxing like mad. If i tell my pal who i,ve persuaded in recent past to join me the amount will be too harsh a reality relative to his own So, here i am on nairaland, no one knows me so guys, i landed that amount (translate to pounds) I,ve been after a few boys/gals here to come learn but as very common in the UK, people are extremely time and will poor I would love to put say 5 guys/gals (Naija) through there paces cos the industry i,m in is quite virgin and with the right coaching and other pieces i can help with, you can be on a starting salary of atleast =N=7.5M p/a (no kidding) Requirements that will help greatly. Technology/computer/gadget consciousness (yu dnt hv to have them), degree or equivalent or more. Good dose of desire and hunger (yu keep at it, i have and still am at it) |

Trust Nigerians, too much book Still celebrating, anyone else think its a fraud? The industry is offering up to £100k/a for some top level positions, for me, target for that level is in 12 months if I don't crack my entreprenuerial moves, have to by all means! Congrats moi |

I won't spill spill here, just don't feel comfortable doing that at this stage I am partucularly interested in transfering what I know to a couple of my "tiwan tiwa" who might fit one of my friends profile University graduate from Nigeria come to the UK for a masters Went through the challenge of finishing and then you're faced with bleak employment prospects you're youngish and have the drive to better whatever situation you're in In this industry you'll prefarably be a uni graduate, computer literate but most importantly, a sponge, ready to learn like wild fire spreading (whatever that means ) I am interested in guys who live in and around London 2 girls 3 boys or 3 girls 2 boys who will really benefit, who need stuff like this "I am trying to "cure" the sick and not the healthy" Entry level pay (salary) upto £30,000 p/a If interested just chat here, i need encouragement, need to have a feel of what you're like |

One thing I have found out here is though we might not like these folks cos of history or percieved rascism I must give the devil his dues and say they work f%$£ hard!! Dnt be decieved! I begin to think thats probably the reason why they get out on weekends and get pissed 100 times over and over No its not a money ritual My community sef!? We need some sort of revolution in our own way, we're either so steep in dodgy to see the wood for the trees or just seating duck, weak and miserable. There are hard working folks in the community though Now, the Nigerian based guy, notin is impossible but you'll have to sell that distance and do you have a laptop/desktop pc? Do you have easy access to the internet? What's your background etc As for my in and around London offer, i,ll expect notin but you never know I will press on in my own case |

How can people be so daft to fall for this glaring scam? What exactly does education, even just primary education, impact on Nigerian if a schooled person could not identify a simple scam like this poster? It's annoying seeing people here falling for this. Very upsetting! |

chino4: Are you in the UK (London)? This will be sorta a career change. The guys in Nigeria, I tried to push my friend in Nigeria the other day (last year or so) and his access to the internet and life pressures just made him drop off. |

How can people be so daft to fall for this glaring scam? What exactly does education, even just primary education, impact on Nigerian if a schooled person could not identify a simple scam like this poster? The current unemployment situation of our country has turned many people to opportunists.Tomorrow they still come here to tell us how they were defrauded.I laugh at people's ignorance. |
Re: I Landed =n=20m P/a Salary!nairaland Celebration.read And Join In The Toast! by tttn726: 10:31am On Jun 05, 2011 |
chamber2: You should allow the poster ask for money first or ask them to meet her/him in a secret location for organ donation before you sound so sure You doubting thomases are actually the "daft and dumb" ones. You have allowed the environment you live in take over your sense of judgement if any This is what i will advice, in stead of immediately saying good riddance to what might be a fabulous opportunity every time, develop a series of steps to approach offers or opportunities until you reach the point where it all gets really really dodgy For example and off my head, if the poster is engaging ask questions obvious with scams associated with us, viz, do i need to pay any money or offer anything upfront? Are we expected to meet in the "evil forest" or any other non - public space Throw some probing questions and keep your wits about you all the time until you're totally sure "its not too good to be true" As for the poster - those interested haven't shown enough interest and my decision is based on that mainly, i,ll just enjoy this and continue my hard work towards my own objectives The field is not massively technical and there's a huge swell of opportunity closing quickly is why i am particularly interested in folks in relative proximity to me (UK) I am not satisfied yet but just thought to drag some one(s) along |
Re: I Landed =n=20m P/a Salary!nairaland Celebration.read And Join In The Toast! by 1forall: 1:48pm On Jun 05, 2011 |
Yeah poster but don't blame these guys for being pessimistic, there are lots of people who come here to make mouth watering offers every now and then with the sole aim of conning people and there have been so many experiences. You forgot to tell us the industry this fantastic jobs are? I'm interested in learning more because I'm in the UK where you have said the positions are, not London though. And I'm sure you know what the employment situation is like especially for 'us'. So how do you suggest to do this knowledge transfer? |
