Today marks the day when one of the greatest African leaders came to power. (You probably never heard of him



On the 21st of October 1969, Maj. Gen. Mohamed Siad Barre became the president of the Republic of Somalia. perhaps more than any other African president in living memory, Siad Barre, transformed Somalia from a poor, young nation to an economically independent and socially progressive nations.
