These loan providers are not there to help you but to frustrate you in such a way that you will regret your life. These apps are extorting money from desperate and helpless Nigerians in such a manner that is unacceptable.

I am not trying to condemn any loan provider unjustly but after seeing what most of them are doing to me and other people, I decided to warn people to stay clear from them or have themselves to blame at last.

These loan apps can tear peaceful families apart, give your family members call you for urgent meeting and will even give some of them high bp with their cheap threats.

Truth is, they won't do you anything, they'll only frustrate your life and tarnish your image before people who respect and trust you in every way possible, they will send your picture, phone number and and threats to all your contacts that you're a criminal, fraudster and never to be trusted in any financial transaction, they will be calling your contacts and telling them you're wanted by Nigerian Police and EFCC and that you made them your guarantor even when you didn't. They will be sending automated messages and calls to all your contacts via voice calls, sms and whatsapp threatening to arrest all your family members even those that are not even aware you took a loan from these apps.

These companies don't care about you or your respect and peace of mind, avoid them totally. They will promise you heaven and earth with every sweet words, they will spoil your social media walls with sponsored ads to treak you.

+ Shorter loan duration like (7-14 days) they themselves know you won't meet up with the high interest and service charge
+ They will create a service fee and interest differently
+ They treat their customers like trash, no single respect
+ They send out abusive messages to all your contacts when you default even for a few hours.

+ They charge for card verification before approving a loan

They are all criminals with license to defraud Nigerians. The federal government is aware of their operations but won't do anything because they are paying tax. Useless government we have.

Loan apps are not there to "help" you. They are businesses with investors, there to make a profit in challenging environment.
I thought you were going to say the apps were bad because they stole your money, did not give you loan or they stole your information etc .
From your write up, i see the problem rather is that you asked for a loan, an "offer" was given to you which you accepted, the issue is that there was default in payment.
Nigerians will take loan or you lend them money, when it is time to pay you become enemies, they bring up all issues, sentiments why they cannot pay forgetting it is people's money they collected.

They didn't force you to take loans, I took loans and repaid even before the due date, I never had problem with them and I start planning on way to always repay loan even before collecting, I hate loans but when you run out of choices to feeds or medication, I had no options when no one to helps

Let the loan apps keep frustrating whoever needs loan. People should live by their means. If you are capable of paying back loans, go to the bank.

The same way they default on loan payments to these loan sharks is the way they do to family and friends too and because of the relationship, the family or friend won't get back their money and would not also be able to take those irrational steps of blackmail and all. Hence, it ends up in bad debt.

I cannot help anyone with loan. If you ask me for 2k and all I give is 200Naira. I would rather do so that loan you 2k.

People are always desperate and full of promises when they need these loans. Once they get it, they feel entitled not to pay back.

You guys have been left behind, before you collect any loan from them, delete all important contacts from your phone, infact use only dummy contacts. That way you have taken the weapon of wickedness and criminality from their arsenal.

Honestly.. This post is not a fair one..
As a matter of fact.. This post may be correct with respect to these loan apps doing anything possible to recover their funds including messaging all your contacts.. But..
I am sure.. All those who borrowed money from such loan apps agreed to its terms and conditions.. If you would not have agreed to their terms and conditions why did you take loan from them??

They are not charity organizations...if you take a loan.. Do everything possible to pay.

A lot of Nigerians will be ruined financially if these loan apps starts updating it's debtors names on credit registry.
I hate persons who borrow money and don't pay... Yet they give excuses as if they would tolerate their debtors not paying them too.
