How I stop myself from doing bad things: Article written by our General Overseer
Apostle Constance C. Friday

"When I was younger, due to youthful exuberance, I often did things I felt not only sorry that I did but also sorry for the Persons I did it to but recently, I devised a mind restraint that keeps me from doing bad, even if I really have a good reason to want to smack someone's behind.
It's simple;
Let's assume it's a hot slap, or a vicious punch or whatever else that can ever come to mind;
I simply imagine if the face I'm slapping or hitting or doing any other thing to (maybe dirking, or whatever... ) is my face.

Let's assume, you're about to hit someone with a sledge hammer and suddenly, the person turned into YOU. Will you go ahead to smash yourself into bits with a sledgehammer?

This principle when practised for a long time, has made me become more loving, compassionate and emphatetic to People around me.
I'm so glad by God's Grace it has made not to metamorphose into being a toxic, stupid or dangerous person.

This principle is a key component of the greatest commandment in Matthew 22:35-40 which says: "Love your neighbors as you love yourself"

If you're about to shoot somebody and somehow the person turns into YOU.
Exactly You. Like whom you see in the mirror, will you shoot yourself?

If you won't shoot you, why shoot your neighbor?"

Try it. It works.

Jesus + Holy Spirit
+ God
+ A deliberate decision to obey the greatest commandment
= A true Christian life without religious hypocrisy and empty ministerial titles without practice.
