2023: Campaign With The Return Of Illegally Revoked Lands in Enugu And Win. by D555(m): 8:09am On Oct 30, 2021 |
As it stands in Enugu state today, any political party (except A.P.C) or governorship aspirant who campaigns with a promise to return all the lands illegally revoked and converted by the current administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, will win the state election come 2023 overwhelmingly. The people of Enugu state are groaning under the current administration and wish it would come to an end sooner rather than later. Interestingly, the danger posed by Fulani marauders to land in Enugu state, is child's play compared to that face by the innocent citizens of Enugu state in the hands of their own elected government. It is true that people hold different opinion of the political style of leaders and tend to advance argument in agreement or disagreement of same. But when it comes to Enugu state, the people groan with one voice. There is no part of Enugu state that is not affected by the land grabbing championed by the Governor himself, even in his hometown - Nsukka. The youths are not left out in this mess. Majority of the youths in Enugu state today are Special Advisers to the Governor on "nothing", no portfolio, just special advisers brandishing dirty green white green "business cards". Most, if not all have never even met the man. Their only visible job is to attack both verbally and if need be, physically, anyone who says ill of the current administration. The beautiful city bequeathed to the current administration by the past administration of Mr. Chime has been turned into something else, no good road, water is scarce, political jobbers everywhere, it is simply unprecedented! People's prayer point today in Enugu is for God to turn away the eyes of the governor from their lands, it is that bad. Posterity will judge the man harshly. But I think there is still time to make amends. The Governor should not listen to anyone on the road to seeking to amend the mess he created, but his conscience. He should create a quiet time and reflect on things going on in the state, especially, as it affects the misapplication of Land Use Act to take people's land. The sorrows and depression he has caused communities and individual owners of these lands, in light of the current economic state of the country is satanic. It is in his own best interest to begin now to appreciate that he won't be in power forever and turn things for the better. Enugu state cannot be in the hands on God and the people of God are suffering this level of wickedness. Make the return of lands illegally converted by the current administration a political point during campaign in 2023 and see yourself cruise to victory. God bless. |

Enugu and Cross-River states are two states that should have been at par with Lagos, Abuja or PH because they have either been seats of colonial powers or regional capital. They both have resources to internally develop, without any help from the federal govt, but are still backwards because of long history of bad leadership. 1 Like |

DubaiLandLord1:I don't think you know the political and economic histories of these two states. Calabar was a one time sit of colonial power, it also has a nice climate which is loved by the colonial officers. Just like Lagos, it has an opening into the atlantic ocean which should have developed its ports just like apapa and tincan ports, infact the Calabar port is far older than the Lagos ports. If u have the seat of power and resources, what stops u from developing? Lagos is only building on the foundation laid during its time as fct unlike Calabar. 1 Like |
