In recent times, news have been flying round that the CJN is incapacitated and it’s his son that is calling shot. Who knows if the incapacitation has gone beyond the level that can be managed hence the fear of the cabals and reason why they are going against Justice Mary Odili since she will be taking over from Tanko Mohammed should anything happen. Meanwhile, it’s imperative to note that Mary Odili’s retirement is closer than that of the CJN. I think Mary Odili is billed to retire in 2023 while Tanko is to retire in 2024. Well, one thing is certain,if it's her destiny to become a CJN, no Jupiter can change it, not even buhari because power could change hands in the eleventh hour, same way Mra Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala scaled through after Donald Trump's loss to Biden. Had trumped remained in power, its most likely NOI would never have tasted that WTO's Office, given trump's stance on the issue by favouring the SC lady, which was so glaring to the world to see. One thing which will always set us apart in Nigeria will always be there...tribalism especially as practised by the fulanis. Any day the narrative changes, we'd have a true Nigeria. Tanko is pretty older than the age he's claiming but the system is so corrupt that they can have their way to remain in office by shrinking their age. 6 Likes |

fergie001: Thanks for the clarification. At least it clarifies the fact that it might be because they don’t want her to replace Tanko. 1 Like |

Penguin2:APC is good at foresight and political calculation .I know already that Odili would not be there at the SC by 2023 because of the state and presidential elections. The ruling party is of the opinion he is an ally iof PDP Wike of Rivers State. The ambush laid on Odili's house yesterday is the beginning of her turmoils and removal so as to clear the way for victory in 2023 election. Onoge 2018 supra 1 Like |

Igbos are the biggest bigot in the country followed by the Fulanis you mention. So when talking tribalism always mention the most bigoted tribe on the face of the eart. Eriokanmi: |
