The Jos congress was mere formality as the result was already known before then after power brokers backed Obasanjo.

I'm suspecting majority of Igbos might want to stick to the cause of self actualisation than Nigerian Presidency. I think the mistrust among the major tribes has deepened recently. They're probably shocked that SW still wants another go on Nigeria presidency when Igbos haven't had their turn.
