Afolavid:You can just try your luck by remarking writing. But since you already said you didn't prepare well, the remarking may not change anything but you've not got much to lose by trying. Alternatively you can re-register and prepare well. Aim for the highest band this time, not just 8777. You can DM me your writing samples when you're preparing so that I'd point out any errors you might be making. 2 Likes |

GraciousWords: Read through the attached link and it is a known fact that children are always the main victims of a divorce or separation. Sadly parents have decided to take their matter to a canadian court to settle probably ignoring all other available means of coming to a compromise. From the father's perspective its obvious that he was worried that he would never see his children again. The whole idea of him doing this because she denied him sex is funny but I doubt. From the mother's perspective Canada is best for their children and nothing else should matter. Migration is tough decision and even a single person like me sometimes worry about the decision I am making. It is more difficult when you have kids. There is a possibility that the consent form she submitted was fake. In 2006 my aunty took her two sons to USA on vacation (that was what she told her husband) but concealed the fact that she had secured a green card and was relocating them. I will also not exonerate the mother for challenging the father's position in a canadian court when they could have settled the matter amicably. As it is now the kids will return to nigeria and they either settle amicably or continue the battle in nigeria. |

Pls house, I'm in a dilemma, My TEF result is better than my IELTS because of the IELTS writing module which I am still battling with( IELTS writing really humbled me). If I use my French as my 1st Language, I will have a higher point, however I read in a group where someone asked if she could also use her French language result as her 1st Lang and some person's said that English is Nigeria's official Language, therefore you can't use French as the 1st Language, some other persons said it doesn't matter, you can use French. So I'm quite confused. Has anyone used French (TEF) as their 1st Language and English ( IELTS) as the second successfully? I don't want to make any mistakes please. Still practicing my writing for IELTS though. |

oyinade11: It's your choice what language to use as first or second language....nothing to do with your country's official language.....if that were the case people in countries where the official language is neither French nor English e.g. China, Saudi, Brazil etc wouldn't be able to apply for EE Official languages on the CRS calculator and EE profile refers to Canada's official languages, not your country's official language....see screenshot. Since you have TEF, check out OINP french speakers programme (CRS range of last draw in Oct 2021 was 459-467) if you don't want to wait for FSW....depending on your TEF and IELTS scores you may need to put your worse language scores as first language to fall in the 459-467 range. Search NL for "OINP french speaker" and the link below for more info if this option interests you. https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontarios-express-entry-french-speaking-skilled-worker-stream 2 Likes

Allegory: Thank you very much, I really appreciate. I'll opt-in for a remark and see how it goes. If it comes out positively, I'd just hold on with IELTS for now since 8777 will give me a reasonable CRS. But if it's negative or if FSW resumes early and the cutoff is higher than envisaged in the first draw, I'd rewrite it asap. Thanks Btw, have you seen or heard of anyone who request for remark and the result came out even lower.? 1 Like 1 Share |

Good day Gurus in the house, Please I need your assistance. A company in Canada offered me a job , so today, they mailed me to send my LMIA, Temporary Visa Form and my International passport to the embassy email address : lagos@vfsglobal.gc-c.online , so as to book me for biometrics. My question is this: is this the right email address for the embassy? Thanks in anticipation of your positive response |

petemail2all:If you don't have a relative or close friends in Manitoba, it is what it is, you don't have any business with Manitoba. It's that simple! These people don't joke, once they find out, your application would be thrown out and the PR or citizenship of the supposed reference will be revoked. Now let me ask you, would you risk loosing everything you have worked for to help someone you don't know? And you asked this openly in a public forum, y'all should stop making things difficult for others. 3 Likes |

Don't worry yourself too much. When filling your application, fill the true state of things i.e state your full time job. Declare your US visa refusal. If your side hustle is registered, mention it in personal history then add a letter of explanation that it is a family business that you ran part-time (weekends) and did not in any way affect your full time work. etyno: 4 Likes |

etyno: For Canada PR application, there are details you don't really need to explain down to the little bits as they don't need it. Answer truthfully to the section where they ask if you have been refused a visa before and state the reason why you were refused (reason given by US embassy at the time), and that's it. Do not fall into the self-guilt of explaining how you lied, and all those, they don't care, if the US rejected you for not showing enough resources or enough home ties for example, that's all you need to spill, that's if IRCC even ask you for the reason, do they? If they don't ask for the reason, just declare that you were once refused and move on. For your personal history, state that you have a part time baking business, that's very understandable, no needless explanations. As for overlaps you have to manage them, for example if your apprenticeship is for the baking skills and it's not part of the full time job you're claiming points for, you can bulk it up with the part time baking business, even if you owned the baking business from your NYSC days until now as a side/part time business, I don't see the problem. 6 Likes |

Happy new year and good morning to everyone, I know that this is the wrong group but please I need everyone's assistance. Attn: justwise, ednut1 Long & short story: I recently lost my dad and it was during his funeral preparation around December that my brother who is a citizen suggested we put in a visitor application, because I was the only one running around for the burial couple with my job & business. I forgot to attach my bank statement to my application but only submitting all my brother’s financial documents. Reality check: 14 days after application, I got a refusal letter. Salary: For over 8 years of working with this company, we are paid in cash and because I owned a running business, I put part of my salary into contribution and when its my turn to collect I ask them to start again. WHAT CAN I DO: after few years of thrifting, I collected my share and bought investment some months before my brother’s suggestion of applying for visa application. Now, I don’t have physical cash in my account due to my daddy’s burial, however, my late dad made my siblings and I shareholder in his fuel station and I am entitled to some funding of 2m at the moment. 1) how do I proof this sudden amount in my account? 2) how do I go about reapplying? 3) late last year, I used proceeds from my business to buy a land which I have power of attorney documents, should I submit it alongside business bank statement? 4) should I attach the investment letter? 5) when reapplying, should I attach LOE? Please I will really appreciate your kind response + guidance on how to go about addressing this concerns. Thank you |

spongebobsquare:everything here points to someone who wants to japa and not return. Canada visiting visa is one of the hardest in the world, they prefer to give aged parents of citizens or PR than siblings. You have to show strong ties to Nigeria that will make you return. Your brothers financial documents dont show ties to Nigeria but another reason why you wont return. You also don't have money in your account due to burial so why are you travelling Nothing convincing here you will return o 7 Likes |

Why exactly do you want to apply? What is your purpose for visiting Canada? Do you have wife & children in Nigeria? Do you have landed properties in Nigeria? Also, as a grown person who works, your brother's finances shouldn't be used as proof. In fact, 2 million Naira is not even enough for a proper holiday trip to Canada. Ticket alone will cost you nothing less than 700k. The VO doesn't expect anyone who is going on vacation to use all their savings on that trip. Only people who have no intention of returning do that. Honestly, your application doesn't seem genuine at all. If you really want to go to Canada, join the express entry route or the study route. spongebobsquare: 3 Likes |

Hello gurus in the house, Please I need your advice. I saw a sponsored ads on Facebook about Canada Jobs. It also captioned that the company will sponsor the visa. I picked the number and chatted on WhatsApp. I was asked to send my CV to their email and after 24hours, I was mailed that my qualifications met their requirements. I was offered job as a Drill Engineer for the Oil and gas company. I was later sent Temporary Residence Visa Form to fill as well as Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA) form and Job agreement letter(that have in it that I will be responsible for the biometrics fee while other cost till arrival will be handled by the company). I filled and signed where necessary and returned them with my International passport as requested. After few days, I was mailed to send the LMIA , Visa Form and my International passport to the lagos embassy of Canada through the email they gave (lagos@vfsglobal.g-c.online, so as to book my biometrics. I did as instructed and after few hours, got a mail from the said lagos embassy mail that my documents have been reviewed and i should proceed to pay for my biometrics through the payment link supplied so I can be given date for the biometrics. The biometrics fee is $116 CAD and processing fee is $91 CAD, bringing total to $207 CAD which amounted to #66,549.89 or pay same into one CEDI SIGNAL ZENITH BANK account and send receipt to them. I am confused as to being real or not which is the reason I seek your genuine and honest advice. Thanks. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by ayandee: 10:20pm On Jan 04, 2022 |
you are on the path to a big scam. You will do biometrics and even do medicals after that you won't hear anything again. You would find it very hard to believe you have been scammed because the biometrics and medical will make the whole arrangement look real. It's a syndicate and they are everywhere. If it was that easy to get a job offer and LMIA, 70% of those re-writing ielts and pursuing transcripts for WES would have been in Canada since. Ennymama: 9 Likes |

Ennymama: Do you do any interview for the job? Do you know the name address of the said company in Canada? What communication have you had with the company? In addition when you get job offer biometric is not next you still have to open profile with IRCC. It is after your application has been assess with IRCC and approved before biometric. Oga you have been scammed. 3 Likes |

Can't believe people's desperation to relocate is making them fall for such obvious scams. A simple google search should help you to know the real process for getting a job and processing your permit for Canada but too many people have been blinded by their desperation. Let's all be careful please. 8 Likes |
