If you are just starting this journey, don't be like me, please save your POF in dollars.

I have not received confirmation of payment in my mail nor have I received any form that will further my application process. What could have happen? My friends account has been debited. I studied Architecture in first degree and I have about 4 years of experience in construction project management in Nigeria.

Somehow along the line, I developed the interest in IT, I did an Msc program in data science in the UK. I love the idea of the possibility of working remotely and still get paid well, however I am still transitioning as I don’t have enough hands on experience to deliver any given task.

I just got my PR in Canada and I’m honestly confused on which career path to pursue. I can deliver in construction project, but construction in Canada is different from what I did in Nigeria. Chasing a career in IT could be difficult considering that the market is saturated with data analyst already.

People I need advice, what are the necessary courses needed before I can practice project management in Canada and what could be my fate chasing a data oriented career.

Bro, i would advise you to mainly focus on Construction, considering that you have had a previous experience, once you get a job in the construction, then you can start developing your skills related to IT. I made the same mistake when i came down to Canada. I have always been working in the Construction industry for more than 12 years even though i studied computer science. When i came to Canada, i left my previous experience and wanted to do something related to IT, the kind suffer wey i passed through no be here lol. The IT job is saturated.
