Nobody Burns In Hell Forever. No Such Thing As Hell. by buzugee(m): 1:44pm On Jun 05, 2011 |
let me explain what will happen. there are 2 kinds of death. spiritual death and physical death. some people will experience both kinds of death and some will experience only 1 kind. spiritual death is what happens to your soul if you are not saved. your spirit is dead. then physical death is what happens to you when your body dies. now what happens is that those who are still alive and saved during the last-days will not experience the physical death. ISAIAH 26 VS 20 MY PEOPLE, GO TO YOUR ROOMS AND SHUT THE DOORS BEHIND YOU. HIDE FOR A LITTLE WHILE UNTIL MY FURY HAS ENDED. Then this is what will happen to those who are unsaved and alive during the last-days ISAIAH VS 21 THE LORD IS GOING TO COME OUT FROM HIS DWELLING PLACE TO PUNISH THOSE WHO LIVE ON EARTH FOR THEIR SINS. ISAIAH 24 VS 6. THAT IS WHY A CURSE DEVOURS THE EARTH AND ITS PEOPLE ARE PUNISHED FOR THEIR GUILT. THAT IS WHY THOSE WHO LIVE ON EARTH ARE BURNED UP AND ONLY A FEW PEOPLE ARE LEFT (the saved) Now this is the ratio of the saved to the unsaved that will be around on earth during the last days. a third of the people on earth will be saved and spared from destruction while two-thirds of the people on earth will be wicked and evil and unsaved and will be prime for destruction. After the destruction of the two-thirds who are evil and unsaved then, physical death will be conquered forever. those left behind will start to experience 'heaven' on earth. What happens to those who were dead before the last-days ? well if they were saved, they will arise and join the congregation of saved people on earth and they will not experience physical death again. ISAIAH 26 VS 19 YOUR DEAD WILL LIVE. THEIR CORPSES WILL RISE. THOSE WHO LIE DEAD IN THE DUST WILL WAKE UP AND SHOUT FOR JOY BECAUSE YOUR DEW IS A REFRESHING DEW AND THE EARTH WILL REVIVE THE SPIRITS OF THE DEAD. What happens to those who were dead and not saved before the last days the second death (physical death) of the wicked is permanent. they will not rise up again. they are gone forever. no resurrection for them. ISAIAH 26 VS 14 THE WICKED ARE DEAD. THEY ARE NO LONGER ALIVE. THE SPIRITS OF THE DEAD WONT RISE. YOU HAVE PUNISHED THEM, DESTROYED THEM AND WIPED OUT ALL MEMORY OF THEM. So Ladies and Gentlemen, there you have it. This burning in hell fire thing for eternity is absolute hogwash. Yes the wicked on earth during the end-times will be scorched and burned and exterminated permanently from earth while the wicked who were dead will stay dead and wiped out forever. The saved who were dead aill rise up and join the saved who are still alive. Then death will be conquered forever. Then earth will be a true representation of the initial garden of eden. a true representation of heaven. |

zechariah 13 vs 8. throughout the land two thirds will be cut off and die. yet one third will be left in it. i will bring this third of the people through the fire. i will refine them as silver is refined. i will test them as gold is tested. they will call on me and i will answer them. i will say they are my people. they will reply 'the lord is our god' |

i beleev in afterlife/reincarnation or sumthin of dat sort lyk da Yorubas. i find dat idea much more comfortable dan burning in hell for eternity. |

You are right ,hell is not forever, it's only a temporary abode of the wicked, the final destination of the wicked is the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14-15 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Men will not die in the lake of fire. They will burn forever |

@ PAGAN 9JA
our fore fathers were on the right track concerning many spiritual truths especially reincarnation. no body taught them about reincarnation. they learnt about it by observation of events around them. for example my friend told the story of a very rich man in their village who died and no body knew where he kept his money. later that rich man's son had a child. when the child was four years he would go to the foot of a plantain tree behind the house and start digging. all efforts to stop him from digging there failed. his father finally decided to dig up the place. when he did he found a box filled with his late father's house documents, share certificates and raw cash. he then realized that his son was the reincarnation of his late father and the boy was trying to draw his attention to where he had buried his documents because he did not trust his relatives. there are many other such examples of reincarnation. Souls keep on coming and going until they learn the lessons of life and graduate to become co-workers with God |

Joagbaje:my friend you misinterpret the good book. ok first off it says as you quoted 'death and hell were cast into the lake of fire'. yes this is exactly what i said. 'death' is cast into the lake of fire. this means it is destroyed. this means the second death (physical death) will never happen again to the third who made it through because of their belief in God. at the same time you quoted 'and whomsoever was not found in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire'. yes this is also true. the lake of fire in this case will be the fire that destroys the two third in the world. isaiah 30 vs 30. the lord will make his majestiv voice heard. he will come down with all his might, with furious anger with FIRESTORMS' ISAIAH 24 VS 6, that is why a curse devours the earth and its people are punished for their guilt, that is why those who live on the earth are BURNED UP and only a few people are left (the saved) so as you can see bruh ? we are saying exactly the same thing only you are misinterpreting the scriptures. the lake of fire will destroy the sinners on earth and leave the non-sinners. once they are destroyed thats it. they are gone forever. |

benodic: my friend, its not just our fella Yoruba brethren, almost all Pagan non-abrahamic religions hav sum form of belief in reincarnation lyk for example, d ancient Romans,d Hindus (they still do), the Celts, the Buddhists, the Pagan Native Americans(Red Indians/ Inuits), Sikhism, Jainism and the more recent Echankar by dem European peoples, The Norse, the Taoists, the Pythagoreans, almost all Animist and tribal religions around the globe, etc, our ancestors had a divine insight into d workings of this world, even with d limited resources n technology dey had. much of this knowledge has been lost due to d workings of d abrahamic islam n christianity who tampered nd destroyed much of d knowledge. to me reincarnations d best choice because it makes sense at times (past-life reggretions, etc.) or as dem Hindus say, Karma; where when u get wat u reap; i.e., if u do good in this life, u r born into a better state in your nxt life until u become free from d cycle of rebirth and become one wit d divine powers,i.e., ur souls destroyed, n whn u do bad in this life, u will suffer in ur nxt life. reincarnation also applies to animals, so it is fair in a way because after all , we r all d children of God, d only difference being, dat we r smarter nd more dominative dan d rest. maybe if all Pagan/non-Pagan tribals around d world come together, we canthink of a way to restore this lost knowledge and bring bak our lost dignity. |

@buzugee, u are right when u said nobody burns in hell forever but saying there is no such thing as hell?? my bro. please ask for understanding from the holyspirit and dont be deceived. As joagbaje rightly said, hell is a temporary abode for the sinners and after white throne judgement, hell will be cast into the lake of fire. u know when i was attending seven day adventist, that was what they taught us. but thank God i prayed and God led me to a bible believing church nw where the real word of God is explained. For clarification, read Angelica Zambrano-prepare to meet ur God. If you do not understand still, my bro, i hope u wont say"had i known" on dat day. All the best!! |

What i am trying to tell you is that there are billions of humans who live outside the walls of your bible, so whether a concept like reincarnation is biblical or not is totally irrelevant to them. So saying that reincarnation is not biblical has relevance only to you and those who live within the biblical pages. Joagbaje: |

Re: Nobody Burns In Hell Forever. No Such Thing As Hell. by Joagbaje(m): 5:33am On Jun 07, 2011 |
@buzugee buzugee: I think you are the one misrepresenting the bible bros. The bible never say that people will die in lake of fire. Death means separation from God. We were once dead in sins . That didn't mean we were physically dead. So the second death is damnation from God. People won't die in hell, neither in the lake of fire. They will be tormented for ever. Revelation 20:10 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. |

Re: Nobody Burns In Hell Forever. No Such Thing As Hell. by dorox(m): 8:22pm On Jun 07, 2011 |
Is the concept of hellfire compatible with a just, merciful and loving God? Where is the justice or balance when you subject somebody who sinned for the whole of 70-80 years of life to a fiery torment for eternity? I personally don not think that it can be justified for one reason. Life was given freely to humans without preconditions, so justice would mean taking back the gift of life that the person failed to use wisely. |
Re: Nobody Burns In Hell Forever. No Such Thing As Hell. by goodvine: 12:43pm On Jun 08, 2011 |
hello Dorox, I understand your question. God is very holy, he would not tolerate iniquity. that the souls of men who died as sinners will spend all eternity in burning flames should explain how deadly sin is and how God views sin. God knows the consequence of sin and the eternal suffering that souls of men shall go through, this i can understand is why he had to offer His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to pay the panelty of sin for all humanity. Do you think it is a joke to let Jesus suffer such horrific punishment and died for the sins of all men? Its no child's play. It was very possible for Jesus to avoid dying on the cross, but He also realised that if He failed to die, all humanity will be doomed! He had to go through it, died and shed his holy blood, because the scripture says in Heb 9:22 that without sheding of blood is no remission or removal, taking away or forgiveness of sin; and it also says in Heb 10:4 that it is impossible for the blood of animals to take away sin. The Lord knew the consequence of men dying without their sins forgiven - that is why He took it upon Himself to fulfil the condition for forgivenss and remission of our sins. You know something, God cannot change his word for anybody. Our human opinions cannot make him change his word of standard for salvation. Jesus has expressed His love for humanity by laying down His own life for us. It is left for us to accept or reject his offer of salvation. For every decision we take, there is consequence for it - whether good or bad. It's purely a matter of each person's choice. Whether we beleive it or not, the reality of eternal hell is true and cannot be denied. It is only unfortunate for those who do not know the way of escape which God has made for all humanity - which is through repentance from sin, accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and departing from sin forthwith by His grace and through prayers and dependance on the help of the Holy Spirit which comes into our lives as soon as we repent and beleive on the Lord Jesus Christ. Its is terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God because He does not show mercy to those who refused His offer of mercy while they are alive. No matter what kind of sin a person has committed, God is willing to show mercy and forgive while he/she is still alive, but if he/she makes light of the love and mercy of God and refused to repent and turn away from sin and eventually die in such a state, aaaah na wahala ooo bros! because God is a consuming fire. |
Re: Nobody Burns In Hell Forever. No Such Thing As Hell. by dorox(m): 2:15pm On Jun 08, 2011 |
goodvine:I think you completely got my question wrong. I never for once said that God won't punish unrepentant sinners but that subjecting a person that sinned for just 70-80 years of life on earth to an eternity of fiery torment sounds wicked and unreasonable to me. More so if you consider the fact that God gave us life freely without preconditions. by that i mean that if the consequence of failing to meet Gods standard is an eternity in hellfire , most people wouln't take the gamble of accepting life. My view is that God gave us life freely and those not making wise use of their life would have that life taken from them and those acting wisely would have everlasting life. |
Re: Nobody Burns In Hell Forever. No Such Thing As Hell. by dorox(m): 2:22pm On Jun 08, 2011 |
If you truly believe in hellfire, I think it would also be wicked and unreasonable for you to bring a kid that never asked for life and never made any promise about how he/she will use the life if given a chance into this world knowing that there is a real possibility irrespective of how the child is raised that the child might end in hellfire. |

dorox:Permit me to also remind you that same God paid the ultimate price in order that We might receive the gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS (which is very nature of God) so freely! It doesn't matter the length or the number of days you spent, rather it is whether you accepted God's grace and His testimony in Jesus christ. Following your logic, would you say someone is not a thief because He hasn't been stealing long enough? NO. The sceptre of justice says if and when you are caught and found guilty, there and then you are a thief. Wether yoi are given a short, long or community sentencing, it really doesn't count. In the eyes of justice, you are a thief caught stealing. It's so simple to avoid God's wrath - Ro 10 vs 9-10, believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, confess with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus, there and then are you saved. For with the heart man believes and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation! A word is enough for the wise. |
