There is nothing in this life that cannot be understood only that somethings require your mental stability for you to actually grasp the message they convey, such is the bible.
The book appear to be very simple especially when you are reading only one verse and take that only verse as the word for it, but unfortunately that only verse you are taking as the word or it, is interrelated with the wholistic understanding(understanding of whole bible).
Meaning, if you do not understand the whole bible, there is practically no way you will be able to understand that one single verse.
It is that bad.

So, I usually asked those atheists that normally comes online to shout, the bible is contradictory, the bible is fictional, the bible is this, the bible is that
I asked them a simple question "HAVE YOU READ THE WHOLE BIBLE BEFORE? "
They will say no!

If you have never read bible before how did you arrived at the conclusion that God do not exist?
what kind of mind do you have to dive into a text you know nothing about?

It's like, you have no knowledge about science, then all of a sudden you just feel like diving into a science book that you have never read before to prove to scientists that atoms do not exist simply because you have never seen atom before

Anyway, I keep saying this to Christians, the only way you can overcome is to read your bible as if you are reading a science text, know everything about it no matter how complex they seems appear to you. This issue of I'm depending on the holy spirit or some supernatural force to help me understand my bible is a lie from the bottom of pit.

Forget your pastors and church, discard everything you were thought before and read the bible afresh.
Pastor Adeboye, Oyedepo, Oyakhilome or whatever have played their role. You have to pick the mantle from them and dare to understand this bible more than they do, infact they will be very happy to have such people in your generation.

There are 2 ways it was explained to me. 1st was that it signified the way faith grows from humble begins to become a very reliable platform to base your life on. The 2nd was it was a reference to the gospel message and how it would grow to become a pillar of human civilisations.

The Bible is a collection of folk wisdom and cultural stories told with mythological and legendary settings to give it more import. Just the same way a movie script is. When believers try to say something about how great the Bible is they end up making it sound worse than it actually is.
