A 43-year old man, Victor Ebere, has been arrested in Lagos for allegedly engaging a 7-year old girl in sex and defiling her in the process. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Yusuf Road, Alakuko area of Lagos, where they reside. The Police alleged the defendant to have lured the little girl into his apartment at about 8pm on the day the incident happened, locked his door from inside and engaged her in sex. However, while he was still in the dastardly act, their neighbour, who suspected what happened, raised alarm which attracted other neighbours and the girl was confronted when she came out; she then revealed what happened. The matter was reported to the Alakuko Police Division and the suspect, Ebere, was arrested and detained at the Station for interrogation over the act.
