I sent 2348 usdt to my vendor, I trust him as we have been dealing for years, the coin was sent around 4:30pm November 1st, TRC 20 network was congested, so I opted for Erc , even more expensive. Transaction shows completed at my end but my friend is yet to receive the coin as of today 6th November, I am confused , how do I get my coin back. I use Binance and he uses safepal. What can I do?

There seem to be no transaction of that amount on the receivers address. Can we get your own address or the transaction hash.

Try to contact binance on the mobile app. Be mindful of twitter binance scam pages. Binance should be able to explain what happened.

How about the network of the wallet you sent it to
When you changed your mind from Using the TRC network, I hope you asked the receiver to copy a fresh wallet address under the ERC network before sending the coin?

Check again to make sure you sent coins to correct address and network

that was how i sent 50$ litecoin from binance to one of my betting bookmark, this is something i do regularly.... till today since May 2021 coin yaff not drop, i just gave up jeje.... binance is showing successful but merchant on the other side said its wasnt received and the payment cant be trace....

So you're saying the transaction will not reverse automatically and send the coins back to his account

So it's this easy to loose your funds in a crypto transaction

Yes...binance warns in advance to make sure you are sending to the right network

In what I'm seen here..you will get your Coins back 100%. There's mistake you made when you're doing the transaction.

Bro your money is safe and not lost. U will definitely get it back.. internal Transaction doesn't appear on blockchain and there's no fee for that. You made a slide error when doing the Transaction

Have you found a solution to this? Did you confirm the network of the address recipient sent you before you sent the coins? Have you searched the transaction of the recipient address on Tron, Etherscan?

Your funds is not lost. Since your friend used Safepal which is a non-custodial wallet, there is hope. The USDT will not show on your friend's wallet because it's now a ERC20-USDT. Here's what you should do.

I haven't used Safepal before, but he should try to enable ERC20-USDT on his Safepal wallet to see if it shows up, just like how it is done on Trustwallet. I'm certain this would work.

If there's no option for this, he should important his private keys to Trustwallet and do the above.

What exactly did he do? Did he enable ERC20-USDT on Safepal. If that didn't work, has he tried importing his seed phase to Trustwallet by selecting 'Multicoin wallet' and enabling both Tron and Ethereum based USDT?
