NYDP Will Drag INEC to Court Over Anambra Governorship Elections:

The Nigeria Youths Democratic Party NYDP has said that it's leadership is ready to call INEC to answer in court on the issues of legalities and illegalities of conducting the Anambra state Governorship elections.

Barry Avotu Johnson 1st, who is the national chairman of the political youth front recently discovered as the third force in the Nigerian political ladder by the media made this known to the press yesterday when he was speaking on the issues of conducting the activities of electioneering process in Nigeria.

Barry Avotu Johnson 1st said in the first place INEC has not legal backing to conduct the 2021 Anambra state Governorship elections without the NYDP on the ballot.

By the laws of our democracy insharined in the electoral act and backed up by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria the NYDP is already a registered political party that should be given the opportunity to present a flagship candidate in whatever Interested elective position is open for contest.

But INEC have refused to follow the due process provided by law to register political parties in Nigeria.
And this is going to be a very worrisome thing for our politics I INEC continues to provide more windows for political litigation in our politics.

An election that is characterized with so much litigation will not provide the backdrop for political stability and growth and of cause youth inclusivity is one of the major ways we can use in growing our democracy.

The youths are the back bone of every democracy and when they are not provided the opportunity to participate in the process of democracy we would be recording a very high standard of disrespect for country and lack of the proper zeal to see a possible working nation where the rule of law is seen by the political players and electing the right people into positions that need reformation like the reps and Senate chambers respectively.

We have said it before that INEC and it's present leadership do not understand what it takes to run the affairs of a true election organization because with the way things are been done in INEC today there's no difference between the military regiment election body and this one we call independent.
For us INEC is not independent because it has not shown an independent character that should allow anyone see or call them an independent organization.

They still take others from the executive and legislative he legislature and this will continue to create distrust of it's activities.
Right now INEC has a very small honor as an election host in Nigeria.
Most Nigerians don't trust INEC because of their romance with some political party and persons.

Practically we are saying to the world that from the 28th of March 2021 every election conducted by INEC has no legal backing by law because the NYDP is not on the ballot like every other political party in Nigeria.
So therefore, the elections conducted by INEC during these periods should be concelled and fixed for a new date with the NYDP logo in the ballot.
