Lack of discipline in some private schools of Nigeria can never be distanced from the ungodly mentality sold to the students and parents by the school owners.
Teachers are highly devalued in most schools. Infact, no parent will ever pray that the future leaders we labour hard to make great will become a teacher like us. Even the students see us as less than relevant in financial ratings.
We suffer so much for the career we chose for other careers to be relevant.
The school owners made us frustrated citizens just to build their personal empires for themselves and their children.
Are we building employers of labour for our own children to be their employees when we are denied the same financial status to make our own biological children excel in life?
I often wonder whether the teaching profession was cursed in Nigeria !
Why? Parents will disrespect teachers, school owners will treat teachers as slaves or less privileged that must be abused at will.
Even co- teachers will be attacking, witch-hunting, and begin to act as designated or special task spies for the school owners because of gains!
They treat the school owners as a demi- god who must be worshipped. They are careless about the Creator whether He is pleased or not with the dirty assignment they carry out to pull down other colleagues for them gain cheap favor.
