IMPORTANT TIP! HOW MC4 CONNECTORS CAN INCREASE THE SOLAR INSTALLATION EFFICIENCY MC4 connectors make the wiring of solar panels much easier, faster, and neater. A pair of MC4 includes a male and a female connectors which will be snap together during installation. They will not break loose under normal condition, and are well suited for outdoor installation with IP65. MC4 connectors can also be disconnected if needed. MC4 connectors in series connection: In series connection , you can just connect the positive of one panel to the negative of the other module. Here's a simple diagram illustrating this. MC4 connectors in parallel connection: In parallel connection, you connect the positive together, and the negative together. Parallel connect will add up the currents of the solar panels, so please make calculation before installation. If two panels are rated for 8.9A Imp, and 36V Vmp. In parallel connection, your total current will be 17.8A , and the voltage remain the same at 36V Vmp. I have an illuminose 3.5kva inverter with four battery and 800w solar panel and a 600w wind turbine system i have been using it since 2013 and it give me 24hrs light all round blive nothing compares to it. But i say u have to manage it prudently as it hate been over loaded. |

Please I'll like to ask if my 3300 watts generator can charge a 3.5kva inverter. I was told that for an inverter to be charged then the generator needs to be times 2 of the inverter in terms of kva, I don't know how true that is and I intend getting a 3.5kva inverter because of my AC... Kindly advise please |
