NECO FAILED TO PAY MARKERS 55 DAYS AFTER THE MARKING OF SCRIPT

The National Examination Council (NECO) has again failed to pay the Chief Examiners and Assistant Examiners who participated in the marking of the 2021 Internal Examination even though the result has since been released. This has become a recurrent case because a similar issue was reported during the 2020 examination where the markers were paid after about 3 to 4 months.
It is unfortunate that nothing seems to be done right in this country. WAEC concluded coordination and marking on Saturday 6th of November and has already paid the markers just 2 days after. Our own indigenous exam body loves to see workers suffering before they pay the token.
Deuteronomy 24:14-15 says “Do not take advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy…. Pay them their wages before sunset because they are counting on it. Otherwise they may cry to the Lord against you”.
NECO what is our offence? Pay us our money otherwise, we shall consult village people on top una matter.
