Even a lisping baby knows that prices of LPG popularly known as cooking gas is not smiling now.
In the news, reports have it that prices of cooking gas may rise further as supply has fallen to 20.5% only. The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, PPPRA, stated that the volume of cooking gas, supplied in August fell by 20.5 percent to 85,264.803 metric tonnes (MT) compared to 107,224.584MT supplied in the month of July, whereas, it was 102,787.234MT for the month of June.

While you might say these stats is not your business. It is! This sharp decline could end up putting upward pressure on the retail prices of the product. In fact, we may not be able to refill a 12.5kg cylinder if we don’t have a whooping N10,000. Currently, 6kg refills for N5,000 in many gas stations in Lagos. So you see? It’s your business.
