He is bound to underperform. There is only so much ANY governor in any state can do when you are not in real control of the resources of your state. You cant for instance say we have coal or gold lets mine it..it is federal govt that owns it and they have to approve and grant license and when they approve, all the company tax from the company goes to federal govt. People are shouting economics economicst but it's inevitable they will be disappointed. A governor will build a bridge here, a road there, a school there, if he builds an airport they clap for him because thats really all a Governor can do under our current structure.

The Akeredolu that is talking what has he been able to do as an Oil producing state? Some of these governors actually try but they are hampered by the system. We run a system designed to fail or at the very best produce mediocrity.

Thank God Soludo succeed for Anambra State.

He is probably the most enlightened Governor the state will ever have, given the caliber of politically hungry business men that tussle for state power in Anambra state.
Hopefully we notice a positive difference in Anambra state looking forward, so we'll know if we have got a fit candidate for presidency, as we keep searching for peace in Nigeria as a whole.
