Those who are in Christ Jesus will be united in the same line of thought {John 17:22} there will be no division among them {Romans 15:5-6; 1Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:3; Philippians 2:2} that means there's a group belonging to Jesus that has this quality we just need to find this group!  |

The main reason for division in the church is that we are not sticking to the New Testament teachings of our Lord Jesus and his Apostles. The whole Bible is not God's word for us. Jesus laid the foundation for the church through his teachings but we still go back to the Law of Moses to form doctrines. I read the whole Bible but I only follow what is consistent with what our Lord Jesus and his Apostles taught. If we all can stick to this, the walls of division will be broken. After christ removed the dividing wall. Men started to construct and reconstruct it by setting up numerous denominations.
My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12 What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas[b]”; still another, “I follow Christ.”
13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?

According to the Bible Jesus selected twelve apostles after gathering hundreds of disciples, each of the apostles have gifts that differs but they all have the same line of thought which is the teachings of Christ {John 17:22 compare to 1Corinthians 1:10} those in the congregation later began admiring these Apostles to the point of rating one above the other. That's what Paul condemned back then. So which religious group do you know having a small group of overseers yet all have the same line of thought today? 1 Like |
