When this endsars campaign started last year, I was like instead of calling for endsars we should call for far reaching police reform, even after scrapping sars the same personnel who were in sars are now in full uniform exthorting youths suspected to be yahoo boys.
From up down the police hireachy, they are soasked in corruption and ditto the political class who are supposed to initiate reforms in the force.
If Nigeria is not weaned of corruption, the Police can't be cured of corruption.

May be you are the one to do so. Simply go to YouTube and watch real time car chase then comeback and comment. Police in USA can chase a car for almost a whole day without a single shot fired. The only time you see them firing is when the offender fires a weapon. Sometimes a standoff can ensued for hours. In an event they are sure the offender is armed and a stand off ensued, they make use of armoured cars to draw closer. I repeat, they fire only when the offender fires.
