You've thrown two fallacies together.....$1000 is 500k Naira, what is the cost of living in Nigeria that 500k Naira per month is considered is considered poor salary? Even abroad, educators are one of the lowest paid professionals in the job market, a doctor can make over 400k dollars a year but a professor won't even smell 150k at most schools. Next, when you say politicians hope you checked their official salaries, it is worse than that of most professors but guess what they steal and cheat! Can your professors do the same? It is the same for any society, if you're willing to steal and cheat, you'll either have way more morney than the hardworking citizen or end up in jail poor and broken.....Let's not compare apples with oranges!
