Hi Nairalanders,
It’s my first time posting on this platform. I’m currently studying in the Netherlands and I would like to know if there are any Nigerians in the country. It’s really lonely here and I have a few questions. Thanks

Whereabouts the Netherlands are you at?

You'd find many Nigerians in the Hague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Utrecht.

They aren't much in the smaller cities.

Holland is a small country
No room for misplaced immigrants there.
Doubt if there's large amount of Nigeria's society there

How do you find these Nigerians oh? I moved to Amstelveen as well earlier this year without knowing people here, and have found some events in Amsterdam using Meetup, but it's been a lot easier to meet South Africans and so far, hardly any Nigerians.

The easiest so far is the study visa
A benefit is that it’s 99% sure you’ll get accepted no matter what as far as you have a good result
If you have money just go and pack your load.

The city I live in has the highest number of international students in the country so surprisingly majority here speaks and understands English. You’ll only have language barrier when you’re looking for a job because most requires you to speak Dutch.
