It's not so much as covid as the insecurity. Farmers are unable to go to the farm, kidnappers everywhere. When you have kidnappers, bandits and terrorists including food items in ransome deals, then it has hit rock bottom. |

Aufbauh: OK.. When farmers are paying bandits to harvest their goods.. And they pass the price to the final consumers.. Thus we can say the prices are artificial as we are paying bandits to eat thus funding the bandits indirectly 1 Like |

royal231:There has been an attempt at using the food dependency of the south on the north to torment the south into accepting the north's interest. It started with food blockade and border closure but when that model failed, it switched to allowing terrorizing bandits tax the farmers and thereby pushing the cost to the south. |

CLARION CALL TO PRESERVE THE YORUBA LANGUAGE Few days ago, I was having a chat with a teenage boy whose parents are of the Yoruba origin residing in Nigeria, in-fact they reside in the South-Western part of Nigeria (which is actually the Yoruba speaking part of the country). Malory:World Bank has failed to point out another major reason for poverty in the land apart from covid. Buhari ordered Nigerian northen border to be opened for his first cousins to flood into the country undocumented. For that reason, they have killed farmers, raped women, destroyed their farm, sacked many from their ancestrial lands and imposed taxes. Killer-fulani herdsmen-bandits-terrorist is the cause. |

This unequivocally false. Since the Buhari administration has took over, food has been cheaper and people are feeding fat. They even have excess money to give Davido so nobody should say Nigerians are poor. 1 Like |
