In one R.C.C.G church, the Pastor told some selected church members to form a committee that would facilitate how money would be disbursed for his wife birthday. He ordered them to pay 50k each for 10 people.

Most of them left with hidden grudge because they didn't want to offend God. But several had asked him for School fees, dilapidated house completion and he didn't tell the church to contribute or help such fellow on thriving matters, and when his wife's birthday is around the corner, he ordered committee.
Is this proper in Christendom?
