MESSAGE FOR NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS AS THEY FACE A GENOCIDE

We have been made aware of the genocide of Christians in the area of the Middle Belt in Nigeria. Our prayers go to the families of those slaughtered by Sharia-supremacist Fulani militias. We were also informed that a means to stop this genocide has been provided by the Lord, and we were told it is a people’s movement called the NINAS Movement for self-determination for the indigenous ethnic nationalities. Having been also given the website of this Movement (at www.ninasvoice.org), and having examined what they stand for, we agree that this non-violent seeking of justice by the NINAS Movement must surely be the Lord’s work – the devil never wants justice to happen.

We urge all true Christians from every part of Africa to pray for our Christian family being massacred in Nigeria. We also understand that moderate Muslims are also being killed by these Fulani militias. Please hold them up in prayer too. We can do more, so please visit the website to learn more about this NINAS Movement, then spread the information about them. As true Christians, it is our task to be about doing the Lord’s work. That is the purpose of our life here on earth as Pilgrims. We who are true Christians understand that we are not here to make money, but we are here to be salt and light, as that is doing the Lord’s work.

We want to encourage the true Christians of Nigeria to keep your eyes fixed on Christ at this difficult time. You will find people among you who call themselves Christians but who will not do anything to support the NINAS Movement. They will just watch or ignore it. That is because they do not belong to Christ so cannot understand His work. Remember that the Gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing (1 Corinthians 1: 18), and in the same way the Lord’s work is seen as foolishness to those who call themselves Christians, yet are truly not.

Also, these church-goers (that is how we have been describing them since they are not true Christians), having a spirit that leads them that is not the Holy Spirit, will try to discourage the work of those getting involved in the Movement. Satan uses fear, just as he used Goliath to frighten God’s true people. These are weeds among the wheat because God allows them there until the Final Harvest, will try to frighten the true Christians using the usual tactics of things such as telling you that:
• the Movement will fail.
• those against the Movement are more powerful.
• you will get arrested.
• you will get killed.

God as we know, is always on the side of justice, so true Christian, do not listen to the voice of Satan working through his children. Our Lord Jesus Christ said the same about some religious ones among the Jews, the Pharisees, when He said to them, “Ye are of your father the devil” (John 8: 44). The world is still the same, and not everyone who calls himself a Christian has God as their father.

May the Lord’s will for Nigerians and for the rest of Africa take place. Amen.
