You need to have your head examined. The people running the illegal refinery, are they from the north or from your south south.

Nonsense, continue living in denial.

All we need is a lasting solution to the soot problem, instead of your North vs South tin.

As long it noi kill anybody money must be made

How will it not kill anybody? The fact that people don't drop dead right away does not mean it doesn't kill anyone.

I was in Port Harcourt and Afam respectively in September, the black soot was really pervasive in those places.

Something must be frantically done in order to promote and guarantee the safety of public health.

Are you sure the guy you quoted is from S/S From his comment he has no idea of what is really happening and just wants to blame Buhari because of hatred. They never take responsibilities for their wrongs.

You guys just write nonsense.

This incident is the work of illegal refineries.

When government intervenes your likes are often the first to write all kinds of rubbish on why government shouldn't.

Leave them, this should tell you that most people just comment on issues they have no little idea about and you will definitely get insulted and abused for trying to correct them.

What is wrong with this country, in saner climes all oil exploration and large-scale burning would have to be put on hold until the cause of this is figured out.

But in Nigeria, everyone acts like they are blind and this thing can lead to serious health issues.

But the cause has been figured out... it's all the refining (legal and illegal) and/or flaring in the area. It's not rocket science... our gov't just doesn't give a damn, unless we ask them to do better. Then they send their goons to silence or kill us.
